SANDWICH MAKERS

The Sandwich Makers meet monthly to prepare food to be donated to the inner city hunger centers. Annually they make a total of 3,600 sandwiches sent to St. Agnes/Our Lady of Fatima Outreach Meal Program and 360 hot meals sent to Project Hope for the Homeless in Painesville.

SVDP BLANKET SUNDAY

The Diocese sponsors Blanket Sundays. Our St. Vincent DePaul Society (SVDP) spearheads this campaign in our parish by holding two Blanket Sundays annually. They also procure the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Truck to secure donations for needy people.

FOOD BASKETS

This dedicated group distributed approximately 350 baskets to needy families yearly during their three distributions – Thanksgiving, Easter, and early summer

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE

Last year 65 families had a more blessed Christmas thanks to your generosity to the Christmas Giving Tree. All remaining toys are then donated to an inner city church.

PAPER RECYCLING

As part of our environmental campaign, the parishioners are asked to drops off newspapers, magazines, etc. into the ABITIBI recycling bins located in our parish parking lot. This is also a great way to support the parish.

RESPECT LIFE

Caring for God’s children from conception to death is the main focus of scripture. This group promotes God’s loving care to all his people.

EVANGELIZATION

This Ministry meets monthly to reach-out to inactive and/or alienated Catholics and offer support to those also in full communion with the Church

VAN DRIVERS

As an outreach to our seniors who are unable to obtain transportation to weekend services, we provide a free pick-up service for 4pm Saturday and 8:30pm Masses. If you are interested in driving the van or helping load passengers we could use your help.
